After studying Interior Design at Kent Institute of Art & Design, Kate has over 18 years’
experience in hospitality design which has included 12 years at Richmond International
working with several Luxury hotel brands. As a Senior Associate Kate works closely with
stakeholders and operators, overseeing projects through every phase to completion,
bringing years of invaluable experience to the team that she manages. Since joining
Richmond, Kate has been involved inmany landmark projects which has included The
Langham Chicago, The Beaumont Hotel London, The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas,
Rosewood Miramar Hotel CA, and the Fairmont Prague.

Two projects since joining Richmond that have been instrumental to her career include
working on The Langham Hotel in Chicago, the former IBM tower located on the river,
this was one of the final buildings designed by the pioneering architect Mies Van Der
Rohe. The Rosewood Hotel in California, during the critical stage of the project she lived
on site in Los Angles for 3months working collaboratively with the client, internal and
external consultants, and various project teams, which gave her the opportunity to be
fully immersed in the project. In turn this experience has given Kate a greater depth of
knowledge on future projects and develop one of her greatest skills, the ability to
communicate well with all parties involved.
