Inge Moore, Principal and Creative Director of The Gallery HBA and President Europe of HBA International
Inge returns to a HI Design panel for the first time since the launch event in Stockholm. She came to London to join HBA in 2001 and since then has been the guiding spirit of The Gallery HBA as it developed an extraordinary collection of work, cultivated a team of highly talented designers and ensured that the name became evermore synonymous with original, sometimes iconic, hotel, spa and residential interiors around the world. Inge’s designs freshly re-imagine the stories and cultures that attach themselves to the location and heritage of each project. When the building is historic, she magnifies its soul; when the building is new, she creates its persona so completely that it might always have been there. Her work delights in hand-crafted, individually tailored and ingeniously re-interpreted elements. Large spaces can make our spirits soar, she says, but so can a tiny detail.
Inge’s current projects include: Hotel Atlantis by Giardino; Ritz-Carlton Tunis; the restoration of the San Clemente Palace in Venice; an Isrotel and a new Luxury Collection hotel in Israel; ESPA at the Ritz-Carlton Macau; a Belmond luxury safari camp in Botswana; a Dorchester Collection hotel in Abu Dhabi and a new Jumeirah hotel in St Petersburg as well as exclusive residential developments in London, Moscow and Dubai. Inge was recognised as Gold Key Designer of the Year in 2013.
