The works of the designer Werner Aisslinger born in 1964 cover the spectrum of experimental and artistic approaches, including industrial design and architecture. He delights in making use of the latest technologies and has helped introduce new materials and techniques to the world of product design.
His striking designs have received countless accolades including the Compasso d’Oro, several Red Dot Awards and the Good Design Award. His work is exhibited in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York, theFonds National d´Art Contemporain (FNAC), Paris, the Victoria & Albert Museum, London and the Vitra Design Museum, Weil, Germany.
Aisslinger’s interior architecture includes retail environments, exhibition scenographies and the realisation of the modular “loftcube” and “fincube” concepts. Projects in the hospitality sector include award-winning work at the Hotel Daniel, Graz(Hotel of the Year, Expo Real Munich 2006) and the Michelberger Hotel, Berlin (European Hotel Design Award Winner, London 2010).
