Welcome to Italy, where craft is home. In the ever-developing hotel design scene, the design community is striving for deeper connections with local culture. In a dynamic panel discussion with like-minded design visionaries, presenter and host Hamish Kilburn will explore unconventional ways designers are exploring the art of crafting a truly local narrative in hotel design.
Beyond the cliché perameters of buzzwords and meaningless phrases, we will explore how designers can dare to infuse regional charm, history and traditions with confidence into a modern hotel's aesthetic, and how the desire to ‘travel like a nomad’ is challenging the design community to work in uncharted territory to create culture from sand.
